Loudon International Speedway
Loudon, N.H.
May 17 & 18 - Loudon, New Hampshire
Rosey Gerry ('33 Plymouth coach), Ed Kennedy ('33 Chevy coupe), & Alan Gassett ('46 Ford Coupe) enjoyed two days of running the big oval. However, it appears that NHIS is apparently not used to hosting early era vintage STOCK cars running STOCK vintage powerplants. It seems that NHIS attempted to run our cars with much more modern high horsepower high dollar tube framed race cars sporting vintage bodies, i.e. new cars with old bodies - they may look a bit the same, but they are definitely not similar. Gets a bit dangerous to be cut off by a $ 30,000 to $50,000 race car traveling at well over 120 mph, while your genuine vintage car can only do 80 or 90 mph. The second day was better, and we understand that it may be done differently next year. Regardless, our authentic early era vintage race cars were a hit, and all three cars represented "Wicked Good" in the highest style.
