Think this old dodge pickup has enough power to get the job done ?
Barry's old stock car resting on the "new" 1/2 ton Dodge chassis.
The radiator is in place, some strategicly located shocks are mounted, and ready for piping, seat. brakes, gas lines, harness, paint, ect.
The seat, shifter, roll cage, and steering is done. Before the harness goes in, the car will get its' new paint job.
Painting has begun! As the white starts to go on, some of it goes in here first---
Then some goes on way back here. It's always nice to catch these historic Kodak moments to remember how much fun it was until---------
Your good friend with the camera catches a shot like this and just can't keep it to himself.
Good friend "Haggie" Pratt, as been right there with Barry, making the long trips from Dexter to the Lincolnville shop, week after week, helping build this great race car from the very beginning. As Barry's car gets finished, they will be turning their attention to Haggie's 1937 Plymouth coupe.

Barry's car will be a fine sight on the tracks this summer. With her great vintage flathead six Dodge engine, and that long open straight pipe, this girl sings the sweetest music you could ever wish for. Rumors from an unmentioned source tells us she will really smoke the hides!!!
