Mark Collins- Appleton
1936 Ford

Marks 1936 Ford coupe as it looked years after it's racing days from long ago

Now this is a REAL vintage racer, just like they used to be.  Mark Collins has repowered his little '36 Ford with a stock 235 Chevy Stovebolt 6 cylinder, extricated at the last minute from a 1958 Chevrolet station wagon which was soon blown up in Stephen King's movie "Thinner" !!!

Finished and race ready!!!
The 36 doing what it does best. Laying down some hot laps at Beech Ridge.

1957 Chevy Hardtop

You don't find a 1957 Chevy Hardtop racecar in the woods everyday. If you do find one, you better try to get it. There are not many left. Mark knows that and this one has gone home with him.

It has a few "rough spots", but nothing can hide the exciting profile of a 1957 Chevy. This one is going to look a lot different in the very near future.

This one still has the 235 c.i. stovebolt it raced with. We have been told it will return to the tracks with the same configuration. It should not present any problems. We have already seen what Mark can do with a 1936 Ford Coupe with a 235 c.i. stovebolt in it!!
