1947 Ford

Another historic save!. The "Wild Bill" Nankervis #7 1947 Ford Coupe that tore up the Cherryfield oval years ago. This was a near complete "as raced" car. This runs today with the same flathead motor. (of course all you Ford fans would expect nothing less)
The car as it looked years ago during it's glamor days. We have been told it will look just like this again when restored. What a thrill to see these historic cars that we remember from so long ago out on the tracks again.

Guess who's old race car Rosey has hauled out of the woods THIS time? You can barely make out the number on the trunk lid of this 1934 Ford.
Rosey has rescued "Red" Giroux's very first race car!
Good for you, Rosey ! And good for you, Red! The #V-8 Ford will be lookin' good again one day soon.........
Year: 1940
Make: Ford
Engine: Flathead Ford V-8 ?
Class: Early Modified
1940 Ford

A 1940 Ford Coupe project car. What can be any more fun to start with then that? Especially if it's going to be a very nostalgic Early Modified. Do a little channeling, install a vintage Buick Nailhead to power it, add some old style racing tires, and you got a real class act ride.
Year: 1951
Make: Nash
Engine: Nash In-line ?
Class: Early Late model
1951 Nash

A 1951 Nash 4 door. This should also be an interesting project.
Pop in an inline 6 and it should be a great "smooth side" race car
Year: 1938
Make: Chevy
Engine: Chevy In-line
Class: Early Stock/Bomber
1938 Chevy
This 1938 Chevy vintage bomber was recently purchased and rescued by Rosey. This is a nearly complete "as raced" car. Restoration will put it back into action on the Maine tracks again. It was driven at Unity Raceway in 1958 by Harold Weymouth. He built the car with the help of Keith Fuller Sr.
